fine gifts to our customers across the country. Built upon a
reputation of service, selection and convenience, we have grown
from one store in Cedar Falls, Iowa to the nation's premier
retailer of greeting cards, collectibles, upscale gifts and items
for the home.
Today, Coach House Gifts employs over 7,000 people annually in 30
states across the country, spanning from West Virginia to California
and Minnesota to Texas. Coach House Gifts will continue to
expand, grow and bring exciting products to its customers.

Merchandising Philosophy
We work very hard to see that our stores offer the best, the
newest and the finest products on the market today. We continually
change and keep our merchandise presentation fresh, exciting and
appealing to a broad base of customers.
Our buying philosophy calls for members of our employee team to
interact on the type of products we provide. While our corporate
buyers are responsible for interacting with vendors and making
product decision, they rely on input from our Store Managers...the
people who are out there every day, talking with and listening to
our customers. So, while we are large enough to take advantage of
centralized purchasing (and passing those savings on to our
customers), we are responsive enough to be able to react to
regional trends, or be the first to deliver innovative products
just finding their way onto the national scene. |

in the nation, and considered the forerunner in the card and gift

Generation X stores are aimed at our younger customers. The first
Generation X store was opened in the 1980's. Generation X stores
carry our trendier product and innovative items.
